1. Services

WeStartAI, a division of MDU Solutions LLC, provides AI readiness assessments, AI agent setup and integration, Colorado AI law compliance preparation, and ongoing support services to small and medium-sized businesses.

2. Not Legal Advice

Our compliance services provide operational compliance preparation — documentation, risk assessments, and governance frameworks. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Consult a licensed Colorado attorney for legal counsel regarding SB26-189 or any other law.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your business, workflows, and existing systems.
  • Maintain your own accounts with AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.).
  • Provide timely access to systems and tools needed for integration.
  • Participate in team training sessions.
  • Review and approve work before project sign-off.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees for each service are agreed upon in writing before work begins. The AI Readiness Assessment ($1,500) is due before the assessment begins. Setup and integration projects are billed according to a signed Statement of Work. Monthly support plans are billed in advance and can be canceled with 30 days’ notice.

5. Warranties and Disclaimers

We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. However, AI systems are inherently probabilistic and we cannot guarantee specific accuracy rates or business outcomes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Data and Account Ownership

All AI agent accounts, data, configurations, and access credentials created during a project belong to the client.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
